White Cliffs Challenge

From Betteshanger Sports & Social Club, Cavell Square, Deal CT14 9HN (TR360513). Please follow marshals directions for parking. Route follows the spectacular White Cliffs to and beyond Dover, the North Downs Way, picturesque Elham Valley and rolling Kent countryside back to Deal.

Start: all walkers at 10:00; Runners at 12:30. All to finish by 08:00 (Sunday).

Entry fee incl tea/coffee at start, food & drinks, some hot, at all CPs. Meal at finish, certificate for in-time finishers, badge available at finish.

All entrants to carry own mug/receptacle, none provided. Suitable footwear for potentially muddy conditions, and relevant clothing for weather and overnight walking, should be worn. Torch (and spare batteries) essential. Compass, maps (electronic versions acceptable) and route description must be carried. OS Explorers 138 and 150 or, alternatively, OS Landranger 179, cover the route. Printable route description and .gpx files will be available from Kent Group website  in advance.
