Courses can be completed solo, in a pair, or as a team of 3 or more BUT each participant needs to put in an individual entry. Minimum age 14. This is a navigation score event using an OS Explorer map (1:12 500) based from the Forestry England Visitor Centre, Pinchinthorpe. Course will take you through woodland, open access land and as far as the iconic Roseberry Topping.
You can choose from 60, 90 or 120 minute course options and will have this amount of time to visit as many checkpoints as you can – collecting points as you go using the MapRun app on your smartphone.
The course options use the network of forest tracks, public rights of way and open access land. You can run, jog or walk the courses which are accessible for all abilities. If you have never tried a navigation event before – this is a great place to start!
