The Glen Challenge is part of the morning program at Glenurquhart Highland Games. Participants can choose between a 10 mile walk or run, or opt for a more adrenaline charged 20 mile gravel or mountain bike journey.
The Challenge starts at Coramony 10 miles west of the village of Drumnadrochit and walkers and runners can book on the free bus service when they enter. As participants traverse the winding tracks and rugged terrain, they treated to breathtaking vista of rolling hills and serene lochs.
Designed to cater to different levels of fitness and adventure, the Glen Challenge tests both endurance and determination. Whether you choose to walk or the brisker pace of the run or the steady rhythm of a bike ride.
More than just a race, the Glen Challenge is a vibrant celebration of local culture and community spirit. As participants from near and far revive the way in which our forebears from the West of the Glen would have walked to attend the Games. The event culminates at the games field in Drumnadrochit, where the warmth of community and the thrill of achievement blend with the festive atmosphere of the Highland Games.
- WALK Starts 9:30am (bus leaves at 8:30)
