We are a friendly club and new members are always welcome no matter what your ability. Upon purchasing new membership you will be welcomed by our chair and advised on how to get involved. Benefits of membership include:
- Twice-weekly training sessions, regular social runs, and subsidised ‘core’ training sessions through the winter.
- Wear the club vest with pride, and participate in the club championships
- Regular social events throughout the year, and access to the club’s private Facebook group
- Subsidised travel and/or entry cost to big races/relays the club competes in
The annual club membership is £14.
The annual subs including England Athletics and Northern Athletics Affiliation is £35.
This includes the England Athletics registration fee of £19 and Northern Athletics affiliation of £2, which the club pays on your behalf on joining and on your annual renewal. If you are unsure whether you want England Athletics affiliation, see this guide.
The subscription year runs from 1st April to the 1st April, but the subscriptions of those who have not been affiliated to England Athletics before, or do not require England Athletics Affiliation and sign up after 1st January will be also be valid for the following subscription year.
Prospective members who are transferring from another club or have been a 1st claim member of another club previously should contact the Secretary before purchasing this product.
A parent or guardian should make the membership application on behalf or an individual aged 17 or under.
