KerryO & CorkO welcome you to the 2022 Irish Orienteering Championships:
Friday 29th April – Sprint Race at Muckross House Estate.
Saturday 30th April – Middle Distance Race at Cappanalea.
Sunday 1st May – Long Distance (Classic) Race at Crohane Lake.
Monday 2nd May – Relay at Knockeer House Estate - see seperate entry page on SiEntries list.
Entry Information - Please note that if you are an M/W 21, 20 or 18 competitor the only championship courses are M/W21E, M/W20E and M/W18E.
Two open pre-entry non-championship courses will be available. These are identified in the entry lists as M/W21L (Men's & Women's Long) and M/W21S (Men's & Women's Short). Details are available on the website. Two entry-on-the-day courses (Orange & Light Green standard) will also be available on days one and two only.
Family Entries - Families will only pay entry fees for the first child. Additional child entries are free. Please enter the first child as the one competing on most days.
SIAC - Kerry O will be using SIAC enabled controls for the Sprint only. SIAC is a contactless method of registering a competitor's visit to a control. The SIAC only needs to pass within 50cm of the control box. Competitors running in all elite classes at the sprint who do not own a SIAC will be provided with one free-of-charge. Competitors running in other classes who do not own a SIAC can opt to use a standard SI card by dipping each control in the usual way and there will also be limited SIACs available for rent at sprint registation for a nominal fee on a first-come-first-serve basis.
