The event offers a perfect introduction to those who are new to urban orienteering – allowing them to combine speed, stamina and map-reading skills - while at the same time offering more experienced orienteers the opportunity to hone those skills on an interesting and varied course.
Washington comprises a mixture of complex modern housing estates offering a varied network of footpaths, underpasses and green spaces.
