CHEVIOT TRAIL EVENTS are delighted to bring you " The Twin Peaks" Trail Race.
A 7 mile trail race taking in the summits of two iconic ancient hills, Yeavering Bell and Humbleton Hill.
Race HQ - The Cheviot Centre, Wooler NE71 6BL
Times:
Coaches depart Wooler - 09.30
Race start - 09.45.
Event arrangements-
Runners will be transported from Wooler to the race start, the base of Yeavering Bell. From here it's a direct ascent to it's summit, (1158ft). Then it's a steep exhilarating descent down to join the St Cuthberts Way for 3 miles. The route then leave's the SCW to ascend the final peak, Humbleton Hill, ( 850ft). A marked trail back to Wooler complete's this epic route!
Kit requirements, appropriate for the weather conditions.
