The Ram Sportive is a brilliant day out riding along remote Roman roads that pass between the Yorkshire Dales most famous 3 giant peaks of Ingleborough, Pen Y Gent and Whernside.
The ride has been extended to 80 miles to include an ascent of the legendary Coal Road, en route to the breath taking descent of Barbondale, surely one of the best cycling experiences England has to offer.
Starting and finishing on the edge of Lancaster – quiet lanes are followed throughout your journey – offering some of the best scenery and cycling region has to offer.

Entry includes:
- Start between 0830 & 0930 hrs
- free secure parking on tarmac car park
- on site toilets inside 3-1-5 Health Club
- rider registration in the club entrance on the day
- friendly team of experienced marshals and helpers
- public liability insurance
- 1 x fully equipped ambulance staffed by 2 x professional paramedics
- GPX files of route sent out with event day information e mail in week before the event
- quiet roads and lanes throughout
- fully way-marked with distinctive arrows and safety signs throughout
- 1 x feed station around half way
