Another weekend of high quality racing organised by Lakes locals in association with Masterplan Adventure.
Both events are World Ranking Events (WREs), but this doesn't stop non-elites from running in the same races, you just need a world ranking ID (i.e. IOF eventor account) if you want the points.
Saturday - Middle - Great Tower - Technical, runnable woodland.
Men/Long: 4.8km, +245m, 1:10,000
Women/Medium: 4.2km, +190m, 1:10,000
Short: 3.0km, +140m, 1:5000
Sunday - Middle - Grizedale Tarn - A partly new map between Dale Park (Graythwaite) and Grizedale
Men/Long: 4.4km, +165m, 1:10,000
Women/Medium: 3.7km, +140m, 1:10,000
Short: 2.4km, +100m, 1:5,000
The WRE courses will have offset-litho printed maps. The Short course will have laser printed maps.
Many thanks to the usual team of specialist helpers and to LOC for use of areas and help with access.
As before, these races will be fairly barebones, the emphasis of the weekend will be on quality terrain, maps and courses.
