The Marriott's Way Marathon follows the Marriott’s Way from Norwich with the Marriot's Way Half-Marathon starting at Whitwell Station.  Both races will finish in Aylsham.

Runners of all abilities welcome including complete beginners. Walkers also welcome.

A team of East Anglia Air Ambulance volunteers will be joining the support crew. £5 of your entry fee will be donated to the EAAA. All finishers will be awarded a bespoke medal.

The Course

Traffic free courses on disused railway line. This is a one-lap flat course which will be clearly marked. There will be drinks stations every 7 miles approx.

The course is traffic free but does cross a number of busy roads, most of these will be marshalled. The surfaces are generally good, and are suitable for normal road shoes.

The course has not been measured by a UKA approved course measurer, therefore the distances are approximate.

Race Details

Start:
Marathon - 9am Anderson Meadow, Norwich
Half Marathon - 10:30am Whitwell Station

Finish:
Marathon and Half Marathon - Aylsham Town Hall
All finishers will receive a bespoke medal.

The race will be held under UK Athletics rules (permit applied for)

Transport: Coaches will be available from the finish location in Aylsham to the start line, before the event. To be booked at the same time as entering. Cost £12.

Race number: collected on-the-day

First Aid: First Aiders will be present at the start/finish and along the course. If you develop medical problems, please alert the nearest marshal and prompt assistance will be provided.

Refunds: up to 6 weeks before the day of the race you will be entitled to 60% refund if you are unable to take part.  If you wish to defer your entry to next year due to injury, then you must do so at least 3 weeks prior to the event to allow us to fill your place.

Transfers will only be allowed with permission of the Race Director and not any closer than 2 weeks before the event.
