A beautiful, undulating 10k route that starts and finishes in the town of Penicuik. The route takes you out of Penicuik to Howgate and the Peebles Road where, on the return the runners are rewarded with the most wonderful views of the Pentland Hills and of course the Mile Brae downhill!
Under UK Athletics Rules and Scottish Athletics Licence
Race Start Time : 11am
Resistration open from 9.30am - 10.45am for you to collect your race number
Location : Bog Road Playing Fields, Penicuik EH26 9BZ
The Brew52 Coffee Van will be in the field and offering hot drinks at a special Race Rate and there will be some home-baking available for a charity donation.
Runners must stay in the field for any warm up and then they will be called to the top gate and all taken onto the road once we have the go-ahead from the Police. The roads are closed to traffic until runners get to the top of Pomathorn thereafter runners must stay on the pavements (where there is one) and adhere to marshal instructions at all times.

We are welcoming 'entries on the day' and will order extra medals but we cannot guarantee a 'medal on the day' for those entering on the day. We can however guarantee that they will have a medal within the week.
