This year's challenge returns with new 8, 14, 22 and 30 miles circular routes.
Runners welcome.
Start/Finish: The Jubilee Hall, Chagford, Devon. TQ13 8DP
Registration opens: 0700
Coffee, tea, squash and biscuits available before the start.
Walkers start: 0800
All runners and 9 miles route walkers start: 0900
All to finish by 1900
Light refreshment at checkpoints.
Pasty, hot and cold drinks at the finish.
Please bring the route description and a mug as none will be provided on the day.
Please refer to C&D LDWA website for required kit to be carried.
Entrants must be able to read a map and follow compass bearings and
must have sufficient knowledge, experience, equipment and navigational skills
to take part in this walk in all conditions and especially in the event of bad weather.
All routes are covered by the OS Explorer OL28 Dartmoor (1:25,000) or the OS Landranger 191 (1:50,000) Okehampton & North Dartmoor.
Because the routes have been agreed with the Dartmoor National Park Authority it is important that you keep to them at all times.
All entrants must download a full route description from C&D LDWA website, print it and take it to the event.
Route descriptions and gpx files will be available from the C&D LDWA website at least ten days before the event.
Certificates will be given on the day to all those who complete the walk.
The entry list will close when either, the entry limit of 350 is reached or by 17th September 2023
