This is an urban orienteering race around the streets and alleyways of Abingdon, a historic market town. This is one of a series of urban races which allows regular campaigners to score points in the UK Urban League.
For those new to orienteering, urban races are a great introduction to the sport - the navigation is less demanding than for forest events. Even so, the streets of Abingdon will provide plenty of challenges to keep you on your toes. Runners in particular should find urban orienteering an enjoyable challenge.
Whilst entry classes are age-based, there is NO requirement that you enter the class for your age. If you prefer a longer or shorter course, then enter whichever course you want by entering the appropriate 'Other' class.
