30/6/24: Entries are now very limited.  You need to enter an Open course 1-10 which has spaces.  if the Open course corresponds to your age class we will swap you across manually later, apart from women entering Open 2 from now on who will run 2a (men and open course) rather than 2b (women-only course) as there are no maps left on 2b. Apologies.

20/6/24 UPDATE:  Entries are much larger than anticipated meaning a few changes to the start windows, see the latest timings below.  Maps have been ordered which means entries are capped, remaining open only while maps are available.

We look forward to welcoming clubs, families and individuals from around the world to WOC Tour 2024, both to support their national teams and to enjoy their own races in some outstanding locations in Scotland’s capital.

The Tour offers a diverse range of orienteering races and activities which are fully integrated with the official WOC Programme. Several races use the WOC 2024 competition areas.

Provisional schedule:

• Warmup:  Thursday 11th July: colour-coded event – Holyrood Park (Starts 15:00 - 17:00 hrs)
• Day 1 - Friday 12th July: urban sprint – Leith (Starts 11:30 - 14:00)*
• Day 2 - Saturday 13th July: indoor race – venue Kings Buildings campus  (Starts 10:30 - 13:45)
• Day 3 - Sunday 14th July: urban and campus middle distance, Scottish Urban League counter  – Riccarton Campus, Heriot-Watt University (Starts 15:15 - 18:15)*
• Day 4 - Monday 15th July: urban long distance, UK Urban League counter – Central Edinburgh (Starts 10:30 - 13:00)
• Day 5 - Tuesday 16th July: urban sprint – Wester Hailes  (Starts 11:00 - 13:00)*

* Event timings on Friday, Sunday and Tuesday will be arranged to facilitate spectating the WOC races and may change from the provisional schedule above.
