Our popular fund-raising sportive runs for the 9th time on Sunday 9th June and offers three great routes - 25, 50 & 75 miles - through stunning scenery in the Ribble Valley and Bowland. This year we're offering three routes through stunning scenery with plenty of challenge, comprehensive marshalling and three feeding stations well stocked with snacks, gels, hydration and our famous home-made cakes. Once again our relaxed 25-miler is a family-friendly ride, with up to two under-16s allowed FREE with every two adult entries.
Organised jointly by the Rotary Clubs of Accrington and Clitheroe, the event starts and finishes at Hanson Cement, Clitheroe and caters for every type of cyclist whilst raising much-needed funds for the Rosemere Cancer Foundation.
The 2024 edition of the ride will be sponsored by Lancashire-based Ribble Cycles, who are backing the organising team to scale up the event and raise even more money for local charities. All registered entrants who participate in the event on the day will be entered into a prize draw to win a brand new Ribble bike worth up to £3,000.
Even in the midst of the pandemic in 2020, with the help and assistance of riders we managed to raise almost £6,000 for our charities and we hope we can improve on this stunning success in 2024. We are one of the foremost cycle sportives in the North-West with a reputation for:
