A race map is on the SHR website together with more details, and full details will be issued in due course to all entrants.
There is no established “best route” and ability to use your required map and compass will be essential if visibility happens to be poor. This is the 12+ km route used in the SHR Championship race in 2022. The scenery is (usually) brilliant.
Kit requirements described in Key Points for Competitors in the SHR Safety section are mandatory for this event.
Parking arrangements will not be critical, but please share if possible. The main car park will be at Kinlochewe village hall, but if that looks like getting too full, there are other car parks up the main road NW past the race start.
The going is rocky in many places, especially noticeable on the descent, and care is required.
