Start - Injebreck Reservoir (GR 358 842)
Start time: 19.00 with registration for number collection from 18:00 until 18.45
Race Route - Start and finish at the junction of the track and the main road approx. 200m. north of Injebreck reservoir GR 358842. Follow the flagged route along the track and up to the top of Injebreck plantation GR. 363843.
Ascend to manned Safety Control at Carraghan summit GR. 369849. Descend to the finish taking the same route as the ascent. Passing over rocky ground, muddy fell and plantation this route can be very slippery - appropriate footwear is needed.

This race is held on PRIVATE land. Access has only been granted for the race itself. Please do not recce the section of the route above the fence on Carraghan hill itself. Also, NO DOGS on any section of the course, including the start/finish area.
Minimum age of entry is 12 years old. (Juniors must be at least 13 years old by the 31st Dec 2024).
Races are held under FRA rules, please read these here . Waterproof whole body cover (trousers and jacket with hood, both with taped seams), hat, gloves, map and compass suitable for navigation, whistle and emergency food must be carried.
The race is a counter for the Callin Wild Senior Manx Fell Running league. Please note that to be eligible for the league you must join MFR or a suitable IoM athletics club, and must also cover a marshal slot in 2024.
The race is also a counter for the junior (under 18) and short course leagues. The junior and short course races follow the same route as the senior race.
