Taking part in the 2024 HHP Virtual Run (or walk, hop, skip - we're not fussy!) could help to change lives! How? By shining a spotlight on our work and raising vital funds to support the growing remit of the Harrogate Homeless Project.
The challenge is to run, walk or wheel if you are a wheelchair user, 5k or 10k on a day of your choosing in September 2024. There is a minimum entry fee of £10 to take part and entering is just a few clicks away:
- Step 1 Register your details, confirming the distance you are commiting to run and any additional donation you might be willing to add
- Step 2 You will be directed to a secure payment page - the minimum £10 per person entry fee will provide a hot meal, shower, clothing and laundry facilities for a person experiencing homelessness. If you can increase your donation to £15 or £20 you would be covering the costs of providing a warm comfortable bed for the night or enabling one of our trained Support Workers to reach out to someone living on the streets.e reference RUN.

Harrogate Homeless Project provides people experiencing homelessness in the Harrogate District with a safe place to stay plus the support they need to build sufficient confidence to move towards independent living. We operate a day centre, supporting people experiencing homelessness, and those at risk of homelessness, with day-to-day care, emergency overnight accommodation, a 24-bed hostel and move-on housing, along with a wide range of support services and engagement activities.
