To get a waiting list entry just enter as normal. No payment is required at this stage as there is no guarantee of being offered a place. If the Event Organiser is able to offer you a place they will send you an email inviting you to enter. You will then be asked to come back to this site and make your payment to confirm your entry. New circular route clockwise heading southeast then west on the green lanes, footpaths, bridleways, and quiet lanes, in gently undulating rural West Essex and East Herts.
Venue: St Johns Church Hall, Memorial Gardens, Chapel Hill, Stansted Mountfichet, CM24 8JP (GR TL 512250).
Distance: 26 miles
Start times: walkers from 8:00am, runners from 9:00am. All to finish by 5:00pm.
Three checkpoints
Costs include hot/cold drinks at start, plus snacks/sandwiches at 2 indoor checkpoints, and meal at finish. Certificate to all finishers.
Entry limit 180. Entries close Sunday 29th December 2024 or earlier if limit reached.
Entries are not transferable.
No entries on the day.
No refunds after 29th December 2024 unless the event is cancelled.
No dogs.
All entrants to bring a mug.
Minimum age 16, under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
