500ft of ascent (this hike is suitable for beginners)

Starting from Marske we will follow rights of way across the fields before following a section of road and track to Telfit. At Telfit we will cross the Marske Beck via a pack horse bridge and pass through Clints Wood on our return to Marske. Estimated finish time is 7.30 - 8pm

As parking in Marske is limited, we will arrange lift sharing as far as possible between the group.

Please note this is a FEMALE ONLY event.

Highlights include:

  • Lead by a qualified Hill and Moorland Leader
  • Small group of 12 max

Start: 6pm meet for a 6.15pm start

You must be 18+ to enter this event.

You will need:

  • ·         Walking boots and thick socks

    ·         Waterproof jacket and trousers

    ·        Spare top layer in your pack

    ·         Snacks and drinks in an easy to find section of your bag. We recommend bringing 500ml of drinks with you.

    ·         Fully charged mobile phone.

    ·         Any personal medication needed.

    ·         A comfortable back pack to carry your own kit. You may wish to consider putting things inside a plastic bag or other waterproof bag inside your back pack.

    ·         A Head torch or hand held torch. We should be finished well before darkness but please bring a torch just in case we are delayed.
