This is our 1st event of the 2024/25 Series. Prizes for this year's series will be presented immediately afterwards and everyone is welcome to stay for refreshments and prize presentations.
The event is based at Holmbury St Mary in the Surrey Hills. We are returning to one of our favourite venues where there is a wealth of possibilities for a great ride.
You’ll be given a marked up OS A3 waterproof map and have 2 or 3 hours to visit as many checkpoints as possible. You can enter as a solo, pair or family team.
To participate you will need the MapRun App on your Android or iPhone, or a Garmin Watch with the MapRunG App, or any GPS watch. A link to download the course to your phone will be sent shortly before the event. The PIN code will be given at the start. It's important not to enter the PIN code until you are ready to go as your time will start as soon as you do so.
If you're new to orienteering and don't have a map board you'll be given a basic one to attach to your bike.
Start Times: 09:15am – 10:30am
Time Limit: - 2 Hours, 3 Hours
