The Lets Run Adventures Pathfinder Challenge is a self navigated race which will take place on Sunday 12th October 2025.
This event has a choice of two distances - 15 or 25 miles, open to walkers and runners alike with a maximum time limit of ten hours. The grid references for each checkpoint will be sent out via email.
The route will take you over the beautiful North Yorkshire moors and you will run on old drover tracks, moorland tracks and some road.
The start will be at Commondale Village Hall, Commondale, North Yorkshire, YO21 2HG.
Children under 16 are able to run, but must be accompanied by an adult.
Kit check followed by registration will take place between 7.00 am and 7:45 am with a mass start at 8 am.
Minimum Kit required is as follows:
- Waterproof Jacket (taped seams)
- Waterproof Trousers (taped seams)
- Hat & gloves
- 500ml of fluid and emergency food.
- Map of the area (OL26 or equivalent), working compass
- Whistle
- First Aid Kit
- Head torch (long route only)
- Bivvy Bag and foil blanket
- Soft cup for use at CPs.
There will be minimal refreshments (cake, sweets, crisps) and water at two CPs, and water at a further two
You will receive a warm welcome on your return with a choice of hot food , snacks and drinks.
All finishers will receive a choice of either a cloth badge or a medal. You will also receive a certificate of your achievement.
Dogs are welcome on leads, but unfortunately are not allowed on the start/finish site. Please park off site, and pick up/drop off after start/before finish.
Please note: Refunds will only be given if the event is cancelled by the organisers.
This year there will be a maximum of 100 participants.
