Scafell Sky Race Recce Weekend | Great Langdale Bunk House | 3 - 4 May 2025

In Association with the Lake District Sky Trails

 

Join us for a two day recce of the Scafell Sky Race route and meet up with the Scafell Sky Ultra recce clients too

This is a RECCE only. 

We will be eating at the New Dungeon Ghyll Hotel for both evening meal and breakfast, however this is an extra cost for you to pay separately, it is not included in the course fee.  

Weekend Program: 

Friday Night [optional extra]

• Arrive Friday night and come for a social run 

Day 1: Saturday 3 May 2025

• 08:00: Breakfast at New Dungeon Ghyll Hotel - you must pay for this on the day
• 09:00: Get Ready to set off on the recce at 09:30
• 09:30: Set off with Charles Sproson, your guide, for a cracking days running around the Eastern Loop of the Scafell Sky Race
• Option to join the other clients from the Scafell Sky Ultra recce for dinner [you will need to pay for your meal]

Day 2: Sunday 4 May 2025

• 08:00: Breakfast at New Dungeon Ghyll Hotel - you must pay for this on the day
• 09:00: Get Ready to set off on the recce at 09:30
• 09:30: Set off for Seathwaite Farm, Borrowdale via a booked taxi and arrive with your guide at the Mid-Way Feed Station at 10:30 
• 10:30: Set off with your guide for a cracking days running around the Western Loop of the Scafell Sky Race - These are the main technical sections
• Finish back in Great Langdale at the events centre and enjoy the buzz on completing the route

The Half Full Weekend: The price, with 2 nights accommodation is £150

The Skinny Weekend: The price without accommodation, but still with the taxi transfer is £120
