Get ready for an incredible day of cycling, community spirit, and entertainment as the Welland Valley Cycling Club (WVCC) proudly hosts the 10th Annual Macmillan Charity Ride, supported by an amazing team of volunteers.
Our goal is twofold: to bring people together through the joy of cycling and to raise vital funds for Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by cancer. We’re also proud to donate a portion of the proceeds to Thomas's Fund, a cause close to the hearts of many WVCC members.

New for Our 10th Anniversary: Exciting Routes for Everyone!
To celebrate this milestone year, we’ve introduced 3 brand-new road routes and 3 new off-road routes, so there’s something for every kind of rider.
- Road Routes: Fully signed, easy to follow, and designed for riders of all abilities.
- Off-Road Routes: For those seeking an adventure, these more challenging trails require a GPS navigator for guidance.
- Family-Friendly Routes: We’ve got specially designed family routes for both road and off-road cycling, ensuring that even the youngest riders can join in the fun. And here’s the best part: children under 15 ride for free!
Ride Your Way – Fun for All Ages and Abilities
This is a non-competitive event, so the pace is entirely up to you:
- Want to challenge yourself? Push your limits and enjoy the ride!
- Prefer a relaxed day out? Stop, take in the scenery, and enjoy quality time with friends and family.
All routes begin and end at the beautiful Grange Farm, Thorpe Langton, home of the fantastic Langton Brewery.
What’s Waiting for You?
- Free Refreshments Before You Ride: Start your journey with complimentary drinks and snacks.
- On-Course Refreshments: Stop and recharge with a well-stocked break at Seaton Village Hall.
- Barbecue & Live Music After the Ride: Celebrate your day back at Grange Farm with delicious food, refreshing drinks, and fantastic live entertainment. It’s the perfect way to end a brilliant day of cycling.
