HALF MARATHON
14.35 miles on the UK’s most stunning north east coast line - the prettiest half marathon you’ll ever run.
Heading south from Redcar beach, you’ll finish in the historic fishing village of Staithes. You’ll pass the ‘Circle’ sculpture in between miles 7 and 8. Affectionately known as The Charm Bracelet, it’s name inspired the marathon. You’ll pass through coastal villages, run on the sand, watch the world from high up on the cliffs, and immerse yourself in everything the Cleveland Way has to offer.
The Charm Bracelet Half is a trail running event, so don’t expect it to be easy under foot. You will encounter mud, sand, rocks, trees, and more mud!
There is 1591 ft of elevation over the 14.35 mile route, so if you’re looking for a nice flat race this one probably isn’t for you..
We are an all inclusive event, and our generous 5 hour cutoff allows for walkers.
