Limestone Way Ultra
A 69 km / 43 mile trail run through the heart of the Peak District limestone dales heading north from Ashbourne and finishing in the village of Hope. Includes 1590 m / 5217 ft of ascent. The well signed route on footpaths, bridleways plus interlinking country lanes goes via Tissington, Winster, Youlgreave, Monyash and Miller’s Dale. 

• There will be three marshalled feed stations en-route
• Registration opens in Ashbourne at 6.30am; staggered starts from 7.00-7.30 am. Finish closes at 5.30 pm. Cut off times en-route.
• Optional early morning transport available by coach from Hope to the start in Ashbourne – cost £15 per head

Limestone Way Half Ultra 

Run in conjunction with the full Limestone Way trail on the same day this is the northern half of the route being 27.5 km / 17 miles starting in Monyash and finishing in Hope. The well signed route principally on footpaths and bridleways goes via Flagg, Miller’s Dale and after heading through Peak Forest it crosses Bradwell Moor before the final descent into the Hope Valley.

• There will be one marshalled feed station en-route
• Registration opens in Monyash at 9.30am; staggered starts from 10.00-10:50 am. The finish closes at 5.30 pm.
• Optional early morning transport available by coach from Hope to the start in Monyash – cost £10 per head

On both routes:

• The route is already well signed plus there will be additional ‘arrow’ event signage at key junctions etc
• Trail running related prizes on the day for all ladies and gents age category winners and runners up
• Free tech tees* to all finishers plus gold, silver, bronze certificates
• Meal/hot drinks provided at the finish
• SPORTident electronic punching with on-the-spot results.

**IMPORTANT** Both the Ultra and Half are linear routes and if you choose to not pay for the early morning transport to the start you will have to arrange your own transport to either; get to the start from the finish location or to get from the finish back to the start location after the event. The paid organised transport is only in the morning before the start – there is no organised transport back to the start after the finish.
