Last of the six Northern Night Cup Events – Findhorn Dunes
There are three entry options:
LONG approx. 5.5k
SHORT approx. 3.5k
Both count for the NNC league
And a SCORE option which is a selection of nearer controls for those not wanting the full Night challenge, uses the same controls.
Findhorn Dunes is an open area with good runnability. There are many dunes for contour detail some with vegetation/trees. There are many paths, only the main ones are mapped and they can be difficult to distinguish at night as they are the same stony sand as the rest of the open areas. Some larger areas of gorse are easily avoided.
