Cockfield Chase is designed as a beginners fell race, organised by Durham Fell Runners, licensed by the Fell Runners Association (FRA). It is two laps on the ancient monument of Cockfield Fell, the first lap being a 3.5km socially distanced social run to show everyone the route starts at 7pm. Immediately as the first lap finishes, the 3.5km race starts.
If you bring a prize you will win a prize - anything will do, just bring something to add to the prize pile!
All runners are welcome (age 14+), whatever your ability or experience, so long as you think you can safely get around the 7km off road route.
The event is licenced and supported by the FRA.
Collection of numbers (by runners) will be outdoors from 6pm.
