Grinduro returns to Machynlleth in 2022 for more Maxin' & Relaxin' in the valleys! Well known for its epic views, challenging terrain and vast network of off-road trails, we will take you into the wilderness and beyond.
In short, Grinduro is just what the name suggests: gravel road race + mountain bike-style enduro = one long loop of pavement and dirt, where finishing times aren’t based on overall loop time, but four timed segments (each roughly five-to-ten minutes).
But Grinduro is not just a bike race. It’s a three day celebration of cycling with as much emphasis on the fun as the ride, with excellent food, an impressive expo village and incredible handmade bikes, live music, camping, and a festival atmosphere.
New courses for 2022 retain all of the things you expect from drop bar riding in Wales plus great vistas amongst the mountain tracks.
The two stages, morning and afternoon, total around 75km with 2500m of ascent. Ticket prices includes a Friday warm up prologue, a full days riding on Saturday, Sunday social rides, camping, access to all event facilities, live music as well as food from Friday evening meal through to Sunday morning breakfast!
COMPANIONS
Please note that all friends/family or spectators must purchase a 'Companion Entry' ticket. This will grant each person access to the event village, entertainment tent plus camping, food and parking throughout the event weekend. Proof of age may be required and anyone 16 years or below must be accompanied by an adult.
