Saunders Lakeland Mountain Marathon - Final Details

Final Details for the 2024 Saunders Lakeland Mountain Marathon are now available in our Competitors Guide here.

Our thanks to Lou Bainbridge and Simon Oxley who have put a huge amount of work into producing this in response to requests from previous competitors for us to provide all the key information in one place.

We are now taking orders for drinks for delivery at the overnight camp, with a full menu in the Competitors Guide - go to My Entries in SiEntries, edit your entry, add your drinks order under Event Options, then click Save Entry to pay the new balance.
This year, the Event Centre is in a remote location with no pubs or shops nearby. Podium Events will be providing catering on Friday and Saturday morning with menus and prices here and here. We do not have a bar but competitors who want to drink on the Friday can order additional supplies on SiEntries and then choose whether to drink them on the on Friday or have them brought to the overnight camp. Uncollected drinks will be sold on Saturday for cash (no credit cards taken). 

Pete Bland Sports are once again our Retail Partner for the 2024 Saunders and have been since the Rosthwaite event back in 1981. They are looking forward to seeing all competitors in Penrith, across the event weekend Friday to Sunday.

If you would like to collect some essentials at the event such as Gas or Waterproof Pens, then please email events@peteblandsports.co.uk with the subject SLMM and tell them what you need.  100g Gas is £5 (2 for £8), 220g Gas is £7 (2 for £10) and Waterproof Pens £2.50 (2 for £4).  They are more than happy to reserve other items for competitors, please email the above and let them know what you need.  Payment on collection only, all major credit cards and apple pay all available at the event as well as cash.
