Snow Running @ Glenshee - Final Details

Final Details for Sat 1st March for Snow Running at Glenshee:
We have 170+ participants registered and conditions are looking good for race day. We can run the event in a range of conditions so don't worry there, but do come prepared for mountain conditions.
Important reminders for race day;
1) Registration - opens at 2pm (collection of race number, kit check) and we have a hard closure at 4.30pm. Don't be late!
2) Equipment - there will be a kit check at registration and spot checks prior to the race start (see website for required kit).
- It is likely to be icy on the tops hence the mini crampons are an essential part of the kit list (to wear or carry).
- Please be sure to bring a front (white) and rear (red) torch, and we recommend a spare torch and/or batteries too (it's pretty dark up there and torchlight is essential to see the reflective flags on the course).
3) Course - GPX files can be downloaded from the website (Course section) and JPEG maps attached to your final email. Please bring a paper copy of the map too (and compass) as backup in case your electronics fail you!
4) Prize giving and lucky dip draw (8.15pm) - please allow time to stay for a while after the race. Hot food and drinks can be purchased at the cafe, and we have lots of great prizes to give away in addition to the trophies.
5) Accommodation; There's still roll mat or tent space available at Victoria Hall if anyone needs it (free for runners).
