I accept the following terms for my own entry. I also accept the terms on behalf of any other participants I am entering in this event, all of whom have been provided with a copy of these terms and accept them:
I declare that the information on this digital entry form is complete and correct. I understand that this race is held in accordance, and that I have familiarised myself, with both the Rules and Safety Requirements of the FRA (for the English races) and WFRA (for the Wales race). For participant requirements in FRA races see www.fellrunner.org.uk. For participant requirements in WFRA races see https://www.sites.google.com/site/welshfra/home?authuser=0&pli=1. I confirm that I am aware of the Organiser’s information and requirements in connection with this race (see www.minimountainmarathon.co.uk).
I confirm that I am suitably physically fit for the event, have navigational skills appropriate for this race and will carry throughout the race any equipment specified either by the FRA / WFRA Safety Requirements or by the organiser. I accept the hazards involved in fell running and acknowledge that I am entering and running this race at my own risk and have the necessary experience for this event. Other than the Organiser’s liability for causing death or personal injury by negligence, I confirm that I understand that I am personally responsible for my safety and I understand that the Organiser accepts no liability to me for any loss or damage of any nature to me or my property arising out of my participation in this race. For the post race food I understand this is made in a domestic kitchen and the organiser cannot guarantee the food does not contain or has come into contact with common allergens such as dairy, eggs, wheat, soybeans, tree buts, peanuts, etc. You have to let us know if you have any food allergies. I understand and agree that any photos taken at the event by us or our event photographer can be used in marketing for future events.
I accept the hazards inherent in fell running and acknowledge that I am entering and running this race at my own risk. I confirm that I am aware of the rules imposed on me by the Race Organiser and that I will comply with them. I confirm that I have read, and will comply with, the FRA “Requirements for Runners”, and especially the “absolute no-nos” of fell running. I acknowledge and agree that I am responsible for determining whether I have the skills equipment and fitness to participate in this event.I accept that neither the Race Organiser nor the Fell Runners Association shall be liable to me for any injury, loss or damage of any nature to me or my property arising out of my participation in this race (other than in respect of death or personal injury as a result of their negligence). I consent to publication of my name, club, race category, race number, finishing time and race position in race pre-entry and results lists, and to the sharing of all the above details with trusted partner organisations (e.g. UK Athletics) for disciplinary purposes or otherwise where necessary in the interests of the sport.
For Junior participants the parent/responsible adult has to complete a parental consent form and hand it in at registration.
Weather conditions/postponements/entry fees: in the event of inclement weather (particularly the chance of thunderstorm etc) we will do our utmost to run the events but safety will not be compromised under any circumstances. Should we have to postpone an event all entries and fees will be transferred to a re-scheduled date; if you cannot make this date then entry fees will be held over as a credit towards future Mini Mountain Marathons OR refunds will be given less a 25% admin fee (to cover our ongoing event costs). We don’t provide refunds for any other circumstances.
Cancellations or transfers for injuries or other reasons: We don’t provide refunds and cancellations for any circumstances. Up to two weeks before the race it is possible to request a transfer to a future event in the same series (same year). After two weeks we can not honour transfers as most of the cost for the race will have been made.
If you hire a dibber from us you are responsible to return it unharmed. If you loose a dibber we will have to charge you the replacement cost of one - £30. If you break a dibber we will charge half the cost of a replacement - £15.
The category you fall in is determined based on your age on the date of the race or the oldest runner in your pair. We also have an Under 23 category (based on the youngest runner in a pair), but the SI entries system cannot apply more than one age rule. Therefore please let us know at registration and we will change the category for you.
