Refunds and Transfers:

• Refund and Transfer requests must be made via email to info@thelap.co.uk. No other forms of communication will be actioned.
• In the event of a cancellation more than 6 weeks before the event date, a refund of the entry fee minus £30 per person will be given. Please note that no refund can be offered for any reason if you cancel on or within 6 weeks of the event date.
• Up to 6 weeks before the event date, competitors can transfer their entry to a future event of the same value for free, however they will forfeit any opportunity for a refund.
• Subsequent transfers can be made to a future event of the same value for a fee of £20.
• All transfer requests within 6 to 2 weeks of the event date will be subject to a £20 admin fee.
• Transfer requests within 2 weeks to 3 days of the event will be subject to a £50 admin fee as 100% of your race entry has been paid for.
• All deferral fees must be made not later than 3 days before the event date or the deferral will not be made.
• No refunds or deferrals can be made once the event is underway or has taken place.

Entries are not transferable to another person.

Unfortunately, we are not able accept any last minute refund or transfer requests, whether by email or telephone, which occur due to unforeseen circumstances e.g. injury or family emergencies.

You may be able to make a claim if you have purchased Si Entries refund protect insurance, through your Si Entries account.

By signing up to this event you agree that you are fit to enter and have no known medical conditions that will affect your participation.

Where competitors use SPORTident timing cards or GPRS Trackers, they assume responsibility of the card/tracker until it is returned - any loss or damage will result in the cost being charged (charges can be viewed on the website) to the competitor. C3C advises competitors that the responsibility for Si Cards/Tracker Units security resides with the competitor.

 

Photography and filming:

During our events there will be photographers and on occasions film crews. By entering our events you are giving consent that images of yourself may be used to promote C3C's events and/or its sponsors.

 

Results

Collective 3 Consultancy Ltd will use best endeavours to provide a finish time for each Participant however, cannot be held responsible for any computer result anomalies or any technical malfunctions.

• In the event of Government restrictions forcing a cancelation up to 6 weeks before the race date, you will be offered a refund minus £30 or a deferral to a future event of the same entry value.
• In the event of Government restrictions forcing a cancelation less than 6 weeks before the race date, you will be offered a deferral to a future event of the same entry value. This is past the point we have started paying venue fees and ordering equipment. Insurance costs to cover COVID losses after this point are prohibitive.

We advise that you take out refund protect insurance through Si Entries at point of entry through Si Entries.
