The Black Mountain Challenge
Event Disclaimer and Refund Policy:
I hereby acknowledge that I wish to participate in the Wye Divide off-road cycling event, organised by All Mountain Adventures Limited.
I understand and agree to the following terms and conditions:
Nature of the Event:
o The Wye Divide off-road cycling event is held over a single or multiple days.
o Riders will be semi supported and self-sufficient throughout the event.
Third-Party Liability Insurance:
o I understand that I must possess valid third-party liability insurance to participate in the Event.
Participant's Responsibility:
o I acknowledge that I am solely responsible for my own health and safety during the Event.
o I confirm that I am adequately prepared physically and mentally to undertake the challenges of the Event.
Assumption of Risks:
o I understand that participating in the Event involves inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, collisions, and adverse weather conditions.
o I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participating in the Event, including those arising from the negligence or fault of others.
Release of Liability:
o I hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless the Organisers, sponsors, volunteers, and any other parties involved in the organisation and execution of the Event from all claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from my participation in the Event.
Medical Emergency
o In the event of an emergency, I must contact the emergency services and inform the event organisers.
Media Release:
o I grant the Organisers the right to use my name and any photographs, recordings, or other media captured during the Event for promotional purposes without compensation.
GPS Tracking:
o I acknowledge that I am required to use a GPS tracker which will be configured by the event organisers and tracking will be provided by a third party provider.
o I understand that it is my responsibility to keep the GPS tracker operational throughout the duration of the Event.
o I consent to the Organisers monitoring my location using the GPS tracking service during the Event.
o I understand that the GPS tracking link can be accessed by the public and for the purposes of spectating.
GPS Navigation:
o I understand that the route for the Event is not signposted and that I will need to navigate using a GPS navigation device such as a Garmin, Wahoo or Smartphone with Komoot.
o I acknowledge that the Organisers have provided route files for use with GPS navigation devices, it is my responsibility to ensure that I have access to and can effectively use these route files.
I have carefully read and fully understand the terms and conditions of this waiver form and I agree to abide by all rules and regulations set forth by the Organisers for the duration of the Event.
By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to all terms and conditions outlined in this waiver form.
Refund Policy:
1. Xcover Refund Protection: We offer refund protection via Xcover for cases of illness, injury, and unforeseen circumstances.
2. Refunds: Entry purchases are non-refundable. However, transfers to another participant are permitted up to 4 weeks before the event start date. Please contact us directly for transfer inquiries.
3. Tracker Refunds: Tracking device purchases are non-refundable.
4. Partial Refunds: We do not offer partial or full refunds under any circumstances.
