The SOA shares basic information like your name, year of birth (to establish your age category) and your club with event officials. We only share your data with organisations who take event entries, and there are non-disclosure agreements in place with these third parties. We will never sell your data to any third party, or pass it on, unless directly related to orienteering event entry or results systems. 

Any additional data analysis will only be carried out on anonymised data. 

As a member you confirm that you are happy to receive email newsletters from us occasionally. If you would prefer not to hear from us, you can opt out of receiving these emails at any time by clicking the link at the bottom of any newsletter received from us, or by emailing info@scottish-orienteering.org.

By joining as a member, you agree to be bound to the UK Anti-Doping Rules and to submit to the authority of UK Anti-Doping in the application and enforcement of those rules. The UK Anti-Doping rules apply to all members for whichever is the longer of a) the length of the membership period; or b) 12 months from the date of issue of the membership.

This document applies to all participants, officials and helpers at orienteering events and activities held in Scotland by clubs or groups affiliated to the Scottish Orienteering Association or by the Association itself.

The Code of Conduct addresses correct and appropriate behaviours expected of people falling within this scope.
