I accept the following terms for my own entry. I also accept the terms on behalf of any other participants I am entering in this event, all of whom have been provided with a copy of these terms and accept them:
I declare that the information on this form is complete and correct. Orienteering is an adventure sport. A comprehensive risk assessment for the event has been prepared and identified risks have been mitigated, however please be aware that participants take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety during the event.
The Long course has a timed-out crossing (60 seconds) on Windmill Road, twice. Please use the pedestrian refuge to cross. Trinity Road (A214) is out of bounds; please use the pedestrian underpass marked on the map. Under 16s must be supervised by an adult on the Long course. The Short course does not have any road crossings – under 16s can run by themselves.
Please also take care when encountering features such as steps, walls and slopes that could be slippery if wet. Please also read the Safety sections in the Final Details for each day’s event for any specific hazards. Parents are responsible for their children and advice is available on request about what courses may be suitable.
I agree that you may publish our Personal Information as part of the results of the Event and may pass such information to the governing body or any affiliated organisation for the purpose of insurance, licences or for publishing results either for the event alone or combined with or compared to other events. Results may include (but not be limited to) name, any club affiliation, race times and age category.
Anyone who has symptoms of COVID-19 should not attend.
Refunds
SLOW will offer a full refund to anyone who needs to withdraw their entry because they or a member of their household has COVID-19 symptoms. If SLOW needs to cancel the event it will offer a refund of the entry fee, less the admin charge imposed by the entry system provider
