Race Rules

1. Kit checks will be made at registration and you will not be permitted to compete without the mandatory items (kit list below).
2. Any runner who is, in the opinion of the race directors or marshals, unfit to continue will be withdrawn from the race. THEIR DECISION IS FINAL.
3. You must notify a marshal at the first instance if you decide to retire from the event. Once you retire from the event, your race number must be surrendered and you will not be allowed to continue.
4. You must carry ALL items marked as mandatory from the equipment list (below) for the duration of the event.
5. Do not drop any litter.
6. Respect other users of the countryside, fellow competitors and marshals.
7. No climbing over fences, please use the stiles/gates.
8. No dogs allowed (the route makes extensive use of farmland).
9. Runners must be aged 16 or over on race day

Mandatory Kit Requirements

• Waterproof jacket
• Decent trainers appropriate for a variety of trail conditions
• Mobile phone – fully charged

Bear in mind the weather forecast on the day, we would additionally recommend;

Recommended Kit

• Buff or similar
• Hat and gloves
• extra warm layer
• waterproof trousers

Refunds / Transfers

• Refunds less £5 admin fee will be possible up until 28th February 2025. 
• If the organisers are forced to cancel the event for any reason, a new date will be established and all entries will be carried forward. If no alternative date is available, all entries will be carried forward to the next year.
• You are able to transfer (sell) your entry to another runner up until 4th March 2025. However it is your responsibility to make sure that the entry details are updated to that of the new runner.
