The Pewsey Downsaround is open to any person over 18 on the day. An entry form must be completed by each entrant and submitted with the appropriate fee. Those under 18 may enter if accompanied at all times by a parent or legal guardian. 

Disclaimer:

I understand that:

  1. I enter at my own risk and that the organisers cannot be responsible for any injury sustained by myself or for any property lost by me in connection with the event.
  2. I will follow the event route at all times, unless directed by a marshal.
  3. I agree to follow the country code and the rules of the event.
  4. I will ensure I pass though each checkpoint during its opening hours and that I will contact the organizers immediately if that fails to happen for any reason. 
  5. I will carry appropriate clothing, waterproofs and footwear for an event of this nature. 
  6. Personal information submitted on this entry form will be held for the purposes of managing this event only.
  7. Photographs and video are likely to be taken at the event, which may feature in Strider magazine, group newsletters, on LDWA websites and on LDWA social media.
  8. Name, and time recorded may be published immediately and may be held in perpetuity for the purpose of providing a record of the event. 

These conditions are for both your safety and the effective operation of the event. Failure to do so will result in retirement/disqualification.

Entry Cancellation/Transfer

Entries can be transferred using the SI Entries system. (Up to 7 days before the event).

No refunds if you need to cancel an entry.

Event Cancellation

The Wiltshire group of the Long Distance Walkers Association reserves the right to modify or cancel the event if circumstances beyond the control of the organiser should arise. This includes cancellation of the event due to extreme weather, acts of God, violence, civil disobedience and war. 

If the event is cancelled we will not be liable for costs of travel fares, hotels, or any other expenses that may be incurred. 

It is your responsibility to ensure the event is going ahead before travelling. We will do our best to inform you if the event has to be cancelled but we do not accept liability if we are unable to contact you. We strongly advise that you check before making travel and accommodation arrangements. 

If the event is cancelled we would endeavour to reschedule if possible, and transfer all entries to the new date. Please be aware that we may be unable to refund or part refund any entry fee. 

Dogs

No dogs in halls, and must be on leads at all times.
