The Minninglow March explores a beautiful circular route from the pretty village of Parwich, a few miles North of Ashbourne, nestled in the Derbyshire Dales.
The route is approximately 17 miles long with 2,000 ft of elevation.
This is a self-navigation event following a mixture of public right of ways, well-used trails and open access land, so please ensure that you are confident using either a GPX navigation system on your watch / phone OR a physical map & compass.
THE QUEST - Collect and Deliver! You'll visit two points-of-interest on the route and will need to collect a card from each, and deliver them to the finish line in Parwich. There will be spot prizes at the finish for those with the funniest combination of cards!
We welcome both runners and fast walkers to take part in the Minninglow March. The overall cut-off for the event will be 6 hours (3pm Sunday afternoon), meaning that you'll need to be confident covering approximately 3 miles per hour, over trail terrain & up and & down hills.
