Saturday Afternoon Countryside Spunch Event - 1/2/3 hour score course options exploring the trails, parks and nature reserves of the Mersey Valley. Registration, Bag Drop, Start, Finish, Food & Drink all at the highly rated Tree Tops Cafe.

FRA AM race. Distance: 14.5km, height gain: 793 mtrs. Although the hills in Shropshire are not the highest, the course is quite gruelling and conditions on the summits can be testing, especially at this time of the year. Please come prepared.
A feature of Brixhams Christmas festivities since 2019. It is a 3k untimed charity event organised by Brixham Harriers and the Soroptomists. This year it is in aid of Shoalstone Pool.  Santa suits are included if needed
Our third series of canicross races in Lakeland forests. This one is set in Grizedale and offers a fully marked course with stunning views across Coniston water on either a 10k or 5K option.
We return to Littlemill forest, which might be small but hides dramatic features that tell of a landscape very different from today's peaceful glen. The ridges and lochans are leftovers from the Ice Age when glaciers ground their way across the land.

Epping Forest Far East offers mainly high quality runnable mature woodland, with limited pockets of denser woodland or more permanent undergrowth. The area is compact and very contoured with several prominent streams and marshes.

The Hardmoors 26.2 is a series of 6 challenging Trail Marathons based in various beautiful locations in the North York Moors and on the Cleveland Heritage Coastline. Roseberry Topping is the last in the series and completes the year for Hardmoors 26.2
Jingle Hells is a new race. It is a mash up of some existing race routes but with new sections and links that have not been raced before. The route is steep and tough in nature with 1000m of climb in a 10km race route.
Peak Raid – think fell running requiring good route choice and navigation skills, providing great running in more remote ‘off the beaten track’ locations. You select your own route and go as hard or as easy as you like!

The forest has a network of well established paths, with some less clear ones between them. The map will be updated to show some changes to vegetation but there will be patches of unmarked impenetrable shrubbery - courses are planned to avoid these
This Street-O event, centred around Baroldswick, uses 1:10000 scale OpenOrienteeringMap. Choose your score course with either a 60 or 75 minute time limit. 20 penalty points (or part thereof) will be deducted for every minute you are late returning.

The Montane Lakeland 50 & 100 recce days are designed to help competitors familiarise themselves with the course prior to the event.
The Lets Run Adventures annual recce of the Hardmoors 55 takes place from Cod Beck to Helmsley. It covers the part of the route that most runners will complete in the dark over ascents at Black Hambleton and White Horse.

A Winter Ultra Challenge of 45 miles of the Pendle Way - with alternative option of 30 miles - on Saturday 3rd February 2024 open to Runners and Walkers from Barley at the foot of Pendle.

Run along the coastline of the English channel, starting at Bognor pier and run to Madiera Ave, Brighton taking Worthing Pier, West Pier and Palace in Brighton.
The Anglezarke Amble is a Challenge Walk taking in Rivington, Anglezarke and Turton Moors, through an area known locally as “Little Lake District”. There is a choice of distances for walkers, either 17 or 24 miles. Runners can only do the long route.
British Night Orienteering Championships 2025 will be held at Touch Estate near Stirling in central Scotland. The area runnable deciduous and plantation woodland and longer courses will use the muir above. This is a true TD5 area with few paths.
LAW75 takes a stunning route from Skipton to Appleby. The route is primarily based on Lady Anne's Way with minor sections on The Dales Way and Pennine Journey.
A scenic race around Harrogate and Knaresborough. This route that is particularly suitable for first timers at all distances encircling the spa town of Harrogate at a radius of 3-4 miles, mostly on attractive country paths and passing through Nidd Gorge.
The Silverdale Circuit is an undulating but runnable 19 mile route with an ascent of Arnside Knott and Fairy Steps in the second half. It's packed full of stunning views and interesting features.
The challenge: to complete 4laps in hours! Each lap is 4 miles with an accent of 860 feet. The total ascent for the challenge is 3440 Feet
A ‘low-key’ off-road running event covering a distance of approximately 27km with 3999 ft of elevation. Enjoy reaching each of the 4 Trig points around Sidmouth - every point counts!
The Unstone Undulator is a brand new self-guided trail event taking place in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside.

Runners have 1 hour to finish the 4.186 mile course before lining up and going again on the hour every hour. This will happen every hour until there is only one runner left. This runner is the last one standing the winner.

The Dartmoor Winter Traverse is a fully supported 50 km or 30km journey from South to North, through some of the most remote parts of the moors. Open to runners and walkers.

Category AS Fell Race, covering 10.9km / 610m. Route is flagged, steep rough descents and climbs.
Covering approximately 21 miles/35 km and 3000ft/850m of ascent the course takes in the villages of Grindleford, Froggatt, Eyam, Great Longstone, Edensor and Baslow linking them together with paths, tracks and open moorland of the White Peak.
Set in the picturesque Dee Valley, the race is just over 6 miles in length with 2100ft of ascent. It follows a route up to and along the Llantysilio Mountain ridge, with a final climb up to the highest point which is Moel y Gamelin at 1893ft.

The Hateful 8 Ultra - a 9 Mile route that you attempt to run as many times as you can in a 8 hour time limit! 
The Dovedale Dash is a cross country race of 4 3/4 mile. The course is mainly along field paths and open ground in the valleys of the river Dove and Manifold. One of the excitements is the crossing of the rivers Dove at the well known Stepping Stones.

OTT ultra - 30 mile trail race, that takes in Pen Y Fan at 13/14 miles. Marked course with 4 aid stations/ checkpoints. Cut off 6 hours for 20 miles.
Competitors set off on the hour every hour to complete the 4.167 mile loop. Complete the loop within the hour to enter the next hour or become a DNF. All competitors will DNF until the last person to finish a loop by themselves is crowned the champion!
